What if we were successful in transforming our moon into mini earth?

As today we are seeing mars as a good option for reciting and transforming it but our natural satellite moon is even closer than the red planet and it is just a 3 day trip to it so, we would require less fuel and energy as compared to the planet Mars.


At initial stage of transformation we have to create an whole atmosphere as we are transforming whole moon . For that we have to bombard our moon with ice comets which carry water in ice form as there are many which are in space .


After bombarding moon with ice comets the moon's surface will have water as comets have water in ice form and that water will eventually vaporise and slower and slower green house effect will work with some other gases in the atmosphere and we are half done.
After this process due to oceans on its surface moon will now no more tidally locked to our planet and and we forget about the solar winds right? As moon will no more be tidally locked it will gain it's long lost magnetic field and we tackled with that problem too.
After this much long efforts we will send some humans to colonise moon with some genetically engineered plants and some algae to release oxygen into the water and finally here is our dream small Earth..
